Jon has been teaching at Schmitt Music for 25 years, with a low pressure and laid back teaching style. He is friendly and supportive, yet organized, competent and thorough. Jon is a professional jazz pianist and trumpeter. He has a B.A. in Music Performance from Macalester College.
