David Kassler is a performer/composer, choral conductor and music educator. He has considerable experience teaching low brass, private voice, and music composition. Kassler has performed as a trombonist and tubist as a member of a number of orchestras throughout the United States. These include the Duluth-Superior Symphony Orchestra, the Lake Superior Orchestra, Acadiana Symphony, the Opera in the Ozarks Orchestra, and the Austin Symphony of Minnesota.
Kassler's compositions for classical chamber ensembles and for solo voice have been performed throughout the United States, in Croatia, Korea, and Brazil. He has conducted choral music on numerous university and college campuses as well as in Germany. Kassler is also a noted lyric tenor and student of Professor Philip Zawisza. Kassler has taught private voice in public school and collegiate settings. He holds degrees from The University of Minnesota (PhD, all but dissertation, in Music Education), Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Miami, and Master of Music in Music Theory and Composition from the University of Louisiana.
David has requested a minimum age of 11 years old.
