Music has always been at the heart of my life. I started piano lessons at age 4 and loved making music with my family. Singing and playing became a natural way for me to connect with myself and others. I went on to earn my degree in Applied Voice from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls, where I also studied piano pedagogy, conducting, and collaborative performance. Since 2017, I've taught private voice and piano lessons to students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced musicians preparing for auditions or performances.
Over the years, I've developed a dynamic, intuitive teaching style that supports both creativity and skill‐building. I specialize in tailoring lessons to each student's learning style, goals, and personality—whether that means helping a student feel brave enough to sing in front of others, or guiding someone to confidently improvise their own music on the piano. I've helped students prepare for recitals, talent shows, worship services, school musicals, and more.
In addition to running my own private studio, I've taught middle school choir, accompanied school and church ensembles, and performed as a soloist and band leader at weddings, breweries, and community events. I'm also a graduate student in Communication Sciences and Disorders, working toward becoming a speech‐language pathologist. This training has strengthened my ability to support neurodivergent students and those who benefit from accommodations or adaptive instruction—especially when it comes to vocal care and performance confidence.
Whether you're looking to sing your heart out, learn piano for the first time, or just reconnect with music, I offer a supportive, fun, and empowering space to grow. My goal is to help each student discover their unique musical voice and enjoy the lifelong gift of creative expression.
