I believe that music and the arts are meant for everyone. From an early age, I discovered that music is a universal language and that it has the ability to connect us. I have made it my mission to spread my passion for music by sharing my experience through teaching.
I have been playing violin for about 20 years and have been teaching violin since 2021. I grew up in the Kansas City area in Missouri and recently moved to Minnesota in March of 2024. I studied music education at the University of Central Missouri and received my Bachelors for Music Performance in May 2021.
I have experience working as a paraprofessional specialist and a behavioral therapist, working closely with neurodivergent children/teenagers. While my teaching style is influenced by the Suzuki method, I am very flexible to customizing my approach to accommodate each and every student.
I welcome all students who are looking to grow! Whether that be to learn a new instrument, really lock in on the technicalities, or to pick up your violin again and just have some fun. I offer an engaging, adaptable, and fun environment for everyone. My number one goal is to ensure a safe and accommodating space for all.
