Originally from Victoria, Minnesota, Alison Johnson is a recent graduate of North Dakota State University, where she earned a degree in Instrumental Music Education. While at NDSU, she studied piano under Dr. Robert Groves and Dr. Thiago Ferreira and enjoyed accompanying classmates in lessons, rehearsals, and performances.
Alison has been teaching piano lessons for the past four years and loves helping students discover the joy of making music. She believes that every student can be successful and strives to create a fun, supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning, growing, and building confidence at the piano. Whether a student is just beginning or has years of experience, Alison enjoys helping them develop strong musical skills while fostering a lifelong appreciation for music.
In addition to teaching, Alison has served as a pianist at St. Paul's Newman Center in Fargo for the past four years, accompanying weekly services. She is excited to share her passion for music with her students and looks forward to helping them achieve their musical goals.
Alison has requested a minimum age of 7 years old.
